Isaiah 54:5: For your Maker is your husband, the LORD of hosts is his name and the Holy One of Israel is your Redeemer, the God of the whole earth he is called. Romans 13:8: Owe no one anything, except to love each other, for the one who loves another has fulfilled the law. Romans 12:10: Be devoted to one another in love. Then you will win favor and a good name in the sight of God and man. Proverbs 3:3-4: Let love and faithfulness never leave you bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart. Malachi 2:14-15: But you say, "Why does he not?" Because the Lord was witness between you and the wife of your youth, to whom you have been faithless, though she is your companion and your wife by covenant. Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate."
Matthew 19:4-6: "Haven't you read," he replied, "that at the beginning the Creator 'made them male and female,' and said, 'For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh'? So they are no longer two, but one flesh. For no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, just as Christ does the church… Ephesians 5:33: However, each one of you also must love his wife as he loves himself, and the wife must respect her husband. In the same way husbands should love their wives as their own bodies. Genesis 2:18–22: Then the Lord God said, "It is not good that the man should be alone I will make him a helper fit for him."…So the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall upon the man, and while he slept took one of his ribs and closed up its place with flesh and the rib that the LORD God had taken from the man he made into a woman and brought her to the man.
